Holiday Ornaments

Participants are to bring their favorite cookie cutter(s) and instead of using edible dough, clay will be used to create long lasting ornaments.

This is a two part workshop.  Day one will be cutting the ornaments.  Day two is glazing them.

Day One: Participants will receive a fixed amount of clay to cut as many ornaments as possible. (This process won’t take long.) When the ornaments are bone-dry, they’ll be bisque-fired. (The drying process takes several days.)

Day Two: Participants will be notified to come back to the studio at their convenience in one or two weeks to “paint” (glaze) their ornaments. Once fired for the second time they will be ready to pick up.
