Time to Get Your Paranormal On

The Bedford County Campus of Allegany College of Maryland will host a ghost story session with author, historian, and paranormal researcher Patty Wilson on Saturday, October 15th from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. For one-hour Patty Wilson will tell ghost stories from the Bedford County area that are included in her books. There will be a Q & A after her presentation. Light refreshments will be included beforehand.

Limited seating is available. To purchase your tickets, at a minimum donation of $5.00 per ticket, please contact Landon Defibaugh at 814-652-9528, ext. 1-6201 or by emailing ldefibaugh@allegany.edu.  Proceeds from the event will benefit the Bedford County Regional Education Foundation and will provide scholarship support to ACM Bedford County Campus students.

Author, historian, and paranormal researcher Patty A. Wilson has lived her entire life in Pennsylvania researching, investigating and writing about Pennsylvania’s extensive paranormal history. She works in the field of psychology and has been investigating the paranormal and documenting it for nearly thirty years.  To date, Patty has written 24 books including Haunted Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania’s Lost Treasures, The Big Book of Pennsylvania Ghost Stories, and A Ghost Hunter’s Tales. Patty has appeared on Travel Channel’s Mysterious Journeys, Biography Channel’s My Ghost Story, and was a consultant for the first episodes of Ghost Hunters.   She has taught at Lilydale Assembly, the oldest Spiritualist community in the world and Patty has also taught paranormal investigation at Rhine Research Center in Durham, North Carolina.  Patty hosts a Facebook page on the paranormal entitled The Paranormal Asylum and she co-hosts The Paranormalist Podcast with her Robert Stewart where each week they discuss the paranormal, interview guests or share paranormal tales.
