This month’s Business After Hours will be a special anniversary celebration for Juli’s Wearable Art, located at 100 East Pitt Street in downtown Bedford: Thursday, April 20th from 5-7pm.

Owner Juli Dull is excited to host the event, exactly one year from the date her doors opened.

“It’s just a way for us to celebrate with our customers that have helped us be successful over the last year,” Dull said.

Guests will enjoy samplings prepared by The Golden Eagle Inn, including a Hummus Platter with Pita Chips and Assorted Cold Vegetables, Grass-fed Beef Meatballs with Basil Pesto Cream & Roasted Tomatoes, Strawberry Goat Cheese Bruchetta with Balsamic Reduction, and Pork Postickers with Ginger Ponzu, along with spirited beverages and desserts, including chocolates from Bedford Candies.

Those who attend will also be able to take advantage of several special offers that night, including 20 percent off regular-priced apparel. Anyone that buys any three pieces of Qudo jewelry will receive a fourth free, and as another way to commemorate their first year in business, Juli’s Wearable Art will be giving away a Qudo ring and topper to one lucky person who attends the Business After Hours.

If you’re unable to attend the event, Dull says customers can enjoy these same specials all weekend long (April 20-23) as a way to say ‘Thank You’ for a successful first year.

“It’s been a lot of fun and very rewarding,” Dull said. “We try to keep the same successful model that Elaine (Housel) had started, but did a lot of changes to make the store look our own.”

As always, the cost to attend is $6 for Chamber members and $16 for not-yet members. You can RSVP by calling the Chamber Office at 623-2233 or Click here.

Any business or organization interested in hosting a Business After Hours is encouraged to call the Chamber for available dates.
