The Bedford County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present, in partnership with UPMC Health Plan, our 7th annual Women in Business Conference. Designed to educate, enlighten and inspire a regional audience of professional women, the conference is planned for Thursday, November 4th, 2021 at the historic Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa.
The conference which was rescheduled due to Covid gathering restrictions offers a full day of inspiring presentations, valuable networking opportunities, vendor visits, plated breakfast and lunch, beverage/coffee service, gift bags and more.
Keynote Speakers Announced
The Women in Business Conference will kick off with a Distinguished Speaker Breakfast featuring Sandy Barbour, Vice President of Athletics for Penn State University. Barbour will speak about her leadership journey, including challenges overcome and keys to success. The Penn State athletic director, named among the most influential women in American sports has guided the Nittany Lion programs through many ups and downs, including the C0vid-19 pandemic and the fallout from the Sandusky scandal. A breakfast-only ticket is available for those wishing to attend the Distinguished Speaker Breakfast only.
A keynote panel of outstanding executive leaders will discuss their career journeys during the Women in Business networking luncheon as part of the conference. Guests will enjoy a spirited conversation with Kelly Blake, CEO of Select Specialty Hospital, Linda Bullington, Principal, Bullington Financial Services and Stephanie Martz, President of Thomas Dealerships.
Additional programs, featuring information about work-life balance, leadership, organization and empowerment will be offered by Jill Cruz, Mary Colledge, Thomas Lahman and Sandra Lane.
