The Bedford County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce a request for nominations for two awards, to be presented at the new Bedford County Business Hall of Fame luncheon Friday March 4th at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort.
The Chamber is seeking nominees for a NEW “Rising Star” Award. Recipients of this award (up to two each year) will be professional(s) under 40 years of age taking on leadership roles in their industry and/or community. Recipients must be associated with a business or organization that is a member in good standing of the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce. The award(s) will be presented during the 2022 Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and Luncheon, Friday, March 4th at noon at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort in Bedford, Pennsylvania. Nomination forms must be submitted to the Chamber no later than February 11th, 2022 for consideration.
The Chamber is also pleased to provide this prestigious venue for the awarding of the annual Citizen of the Year honor, to be selected and presented by the Rotary Clubs of Bedford and the Bedford Elks Lodge. This award will be given to a citizen of Bedford County who has exhibited the qualities of the Rotary motto, Service Above Self, and/or the Elks motto, Elks Care, Elks Share. Nominations should be submitted to the Chamber office for review by a committee, consisting of Rotarians and Elks Lodge members, no later than February 4th, 2022.
