Bedford County, PA — The Bedford County Chamber of Commerce reimagined our Spring Trade Show, now known as the Living Local Marketplace in 2026

The event was presented in partnership with Juniata Trading Company and State Farm Agents Matt Randall and Michael Meehan.
The exciting show still included opportunities to jump-start your next home improvement project, while also exploring many seasonal offerings of the Bedford County region. With the connections of Juniata Trading Company, the show leaned into outdoor recreation, including opportunities to meet and greet the Friends of Shawnee and Blue Knob State Parks and fly-tying demonstrations by the Kennedy Chapter of Trout Unlimited, as well as lumberjack demos by Zach Brouse of Brouse Forestry and Lawn Care, founder of the PA Lumberjack Championships.
“Our hope is to showcase some of what Bedford County has to offer in the outdoors arena,” said Blaine Smith, owner of Juniata Trading Company in Everett.
Also on display was equipment to peruse and test. The show also marks the first major community event of the spring, and will include a celebration of the 90th season of the Bedford Speedway. Guests can enjoy a Race Car Show and Driver Meet-and-Greet Saturday, noon-3pm adjacent to Jordan Hall.

Show-goers also enjoyed food truck fare from Babe’s Kitchen, Jenny’s Sweet Treats, and Hostetler Concessions, which celebrated its 10th anniversary of second-generation ownership during the show.
Door prizes were provided (Silver Lining Drive-In Movie Tickets), as well as live entertainment by Joseph Caroff Music and the Horseshoe Cloggers.
The show was FREE to attend. Thanks to all participating sponsors and partners, recognized in the show program, below:
