The Bedford County Chamber Foundation is pleased to welcome the Leadership Bedford County Class of 2026, including 16 representatives from local businesses beginning a 10-month program designed to provide opportunities for business leaders to explore the county as well as themselves through the eyes of servant leadership.

Beginning with an evening orientation in August and a two-day September retreat (with no overnight stay), the class of 2026 will meet monthly to discuss various aspects of the county, including: History & Heritage, Economic Development, Health & Human Services/Poverty Awareness, Education, the Judicial System, Government, Agriculture, Regional Leadership and Recreation & Tourism, as well as a class service project and a day of Visioning and Graduation.

Benefits of the program are many for both the participants and their companies, as well as the community. Class members form valuable connections with one another and with community leaders they meet during each session.

A community service project, chosen, planned and executed by the class leaves a lasting imprint on our county.
