TENTATIVE ITINERARY
Day 1 – Washington Dulles (IAD)/Dublin (Direct Flight)
Check in at Washington Dulles (IAD) International Airport for a connection flight for Dublin. Overnight on the flight.
Day 2 – Dublin
Change the connection flight and arrive at Dublin, Ireland. You will be met at the airport by your tour guide and transfer to the hotel.
Day 3 – Dublin
City tour and sightseeing may include sights such as Ha’ Peny Bridge, Old Parliament Houses, Trinity College, Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin Castle, St Patrick Cathedral, Guinness Storehouse, National Museum.
Day 4 –Dublin/Belfast
Bus journey to Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland. City tour includes Donegall Square and Belfast City Hall, which was set up in 1906. Visit the Titanic Museum, offering nine interactive galleries that retell the iconic story.
Day 5 – Belfast/Giant’s Causeway/Dunluce Castle/Derry
Bus journey to Giant’s Causeway. Basalt columns jut upwards out of the sea at this iconic landform with a modern visitors center. Bus journey to Dunluce Castle. Bus journey continues Derry City of Strabane District Council Area.
Day 6 – Derry
Walking city tour to visit Derry City Walls, built in 17th century, enclosure with 7 gates and 24 restored canons, a modernistic Peace Bridge scanning the River Foyle, Guildhall, an ornate neo-Gothic town hall with stained-glass windows an iconic gable wall of Free Derrty Corner to commemorate Derry’s time as an autonomous nationalist area from 1969-1972.
Day 7 – Derry/Donegal
Bus journey to Donegal. Small town stroll including harbor walk, and Donegal Castle (exterior view)
Day 8 – Donegal / Slieve League Cliffs/ Donegal
Full day excursion to Slieve League Cliffs 1972 foot oceanfront mountains, offering sweeping views of the surrounding cliffs and see, clifftop viewpoints and a boat tour.
Day 9 – Donegal/Dublin
Bus journey to Dublin – afternoon free time for cafes, pub experience, last-minute shopping for gifts and souvenirs before return home.
Day 10 – Dublin/Washington Dulles (IAD)
Hotel transfer to Dublin airport for flight home to Washington Dulles (direct flight), bus coach return to Bedford.
