The Bedford County Chamber of Commerce thanks all involved in our 3rd annual International Women’s Day Forum, held Friday, March 7th, at the Hall at Kinton’s Knob. The multi-generational event included high school students, young entrepreneurs, and experienced business professionals, all enjoying the keynote presentation by Beth Caldwell. Caldwell previewed the topic of her new book, exploring the ways women over-scheduled themselves and tips for creating margin for the most important things in life.
Jen Judd, of Jennifer Judd designs then facilitated a gratitude/affirmation journal project with all of the attendees.
Guests also enjoyed the opportunity to “get moving and inspired” by Health Coach, Tammy Taylor after a catered lunch buffet by Horn O Plenty Freshtaurant; vendor visits and shopping added to the day, including event sponsors Saint Francis University and Juli’s Wearable Art, as well as North Spring Ballroom and Two by the Sea. The Chamber is pleased to share the photo album from the day’s event, below, with photography provided by Della Watters of WattersWorks and Co.
