Bedford County Chamber Plans 3rd Annual Holiday Nights of Lights

The Bedford County Chamber of Commerce is excited to be planning the 3rd annual Holiday Nights of Lights: a grass roots, community-based, drive-through light display, opening Thanksgiving weekend at the Bedford County Fairgrounds.  Businesses, organizations, schools, churches and families are invited to create a display as part of this naturally socially distant celebration of the season.

“We can’t wait to see what local groups come up with in 2021,” said Chamber President-CEO, Kellie Goodman Shaffer. “Last year’s displays far exceeded our expectations, and we know this year will be even bigger and better.”

Nearly 100 businesses took part in last year’s event, with more than 2500 cars driving through the unique route; and the Chamber expects even more displays, more guests and thousands more lights this year.

so additional dates have been added to the Holiday Nights schedule: November 26-28, and December 3-5, 10-12, 17-19, 21-23 and 26, weather permitting, 6:00-9:00 p.m.

“We are so excited to be creating this special holiday tradition for families of the Bedford County region and beyond,” said Shaffer. “We love shining a light on our wonderful business community.”

Those interested in building a light installation should contact the Chamber ASAP to reserve a space by calling 814-623-2233.  Corporate sponsorships, volunteer opportunities, and gift certificates for admission are also available.      Click Here for Holiday Nights of Lights Sponsorship and Free Exhibit Information
