Bedford County, PA — The Bedford County Chamber of Commerce is excited to be planning our signature springtime celebration: the Home, Garden Lifestyle and Outdoors Show, coming to the Bedford County Fairgrounds Saturday and Sunday April 2-3, 2022.

The event is presented in partnership with Homewood at Spring House Estates and Juniata Trading Company, who joined the sponsorship team for the fall 2021 show, which had been delayed due to Covid-19.

The exciting show includes opportunities to jump-start your next home improvement project, while also exploring many seasonal offerings of the Bedford County region. With the connections of Juniata Trading Company, the show will feature programs by experts on topics, related to hunting, archery, fishing, and so much more.

“Our hope is to showcase some of what Bedford County has to offer in the outdoors arena,” said Blaine Smith, owner of Juniata Trading Company in Everett. “One demonstrator, for example, will bring something unique to Bedford County, and probably all of Central Pennsylvania when it comes to communication with tracking and how he’s trained dogs in the process.”  (See the full outdoor seminar schedule below.)

The show is also presented by Homewood at Spring House Estates, and will once again provide guests the traditional opportunities to meet with local experts about your next big home improvement or backyard project.

Also on display will be equipment to peruse and test. But the addition of a wider array of displays and vendors as well as the large outdoor display areas should draw even more visitors to the event.

“Bedford is an outdoors community, so this addition to the show is perfect,” said Homewood Executive Director Mary Colledge. “Spring House Estates is a community of active seniors. Loving the outdoors and all of the things you can do in Bedford County is universal among all generations, and we’re looking forward to the event.”

Show-goers will also enjoy food truck fare, door prizes, live entertainment, children’s activities and more.
