The Pennsylvania Department of Health will post updates regarding COVID-19 vaccine distribution as they become available. Currently, Bedford County is under stage 1a, including health care workers and first responders, among others.
According to the DOH, Bedford County vaccine distribution sites include: UPMC Bedford, Fisher’s Pharmacy (Bedford), Hyndman Family Health Center (Bedford), New Paris Rural Health and Northern Bedford Pharmacy.

Health care professionals suggest calling ahead before visiting a vaccine distribution site to be sure you are eligible in the current phase. Also, officials recommend that citizens continue to wear masks, practice social distancing, and engage in frequent hand washing as vaccines become available to additional sectors of the community.
