Almost 300 yrs ago the first 13 settlers came from VA to Southampton Township, Bedford County. Celebrate the township’s history, including trapping and forestry heritage with the PA Game Commission, DCNR, and more. Visit tents showcasing early ways of life, including wash day, men’s working tools, quilters, weaver, rope maker, and meet local authors, Kevin Mearkle and Michele Miller, among may other experiences. Enjoy the annual cruise-in and yard sale, plus the Southampton Historical Society will be providing the food as well as the opportunity to tour the old Point Pleasant School.
