Q: Tell us about your organization: what you do, and whom do you serve?

A: Personal Solutions, Inc. serves individuals and families suffering from substance use disorders in Bedford County. We provide Screenings and Assessments to determine the appropriate level of care for individuals in need of treatment. After a determination is made we assist with arranging treatment services. PSI also provides Case Management services to individuals to assist with non-treatment needs such as employment, physical health, mental health, transportation, etc. We also provide community-wide, and county school,  prevention activities to reduce drug, alcohol, and gambling abuse.

Q: What role does your employees play in your organization and our community?

A: Our employees play a vital role in our organization. They are compassionate and understand the needs of those suffering from substance use disorder. Employees serve as the core drivers of support and client advocacy in our organization.

Q: What is something about your organization that people might be surprised to learn?

A: We offer financial assistance for individuals who are uninsured or under-insured to assist with the cost of treatment.

Q: How can businesses and citizens support your mission?

A: Businesses and citizens can support our mission by actively engaging with, promoting, and participating in the services and activities provided by our office.

Q: What’s next for your organization?

A: Personal Solutions, Inc. would like to shatter the stigma surrounding addiction by treating substance use disorder as a treatable health issue rather than a moral failing, making it easier for neighbors and loved ones to seek help. Recovery is possible.
