The holidays are looming, but soon it will be time to take a breath and prepare for an exciting new year.  For professional women and their companies, 2018 is the ideal time to polish your marketing messages; what a great New Year’s resolution!

The Bedford County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present a special event for Women in Business: the inaugural Make Your Brand Statement Marketing Retreat, in partnership with Headline Marketing and Communications: Friday, January 19th from 9am-3pm at the Lodge at Whispering Hollow Estate in Pleasantville.

In this retreat-like Friday workshop, special guest speakers Beth Caldwell and Cassandra Carowick will guide guests through a brand makeover, including:

  • Developing Your Brand of Excellence
  • Positioning Yourself as an Expert
  • Setting Your Company an Apart from Your Competition

“The marketplace is crowded and businesses are overwhelmed,” said Caldwell, a nationally-renowned marketing professional, mentor and motivator. “For me, it’s all about building your brand with integrity and standing out in the crowd in a very intimidating environment.”

Caldwell’s brand-building expertise will be complimented by the team at Headline Marketing and Communications, who will present real-world examples of best multi-media marketing practices and valuable take-away tips for all kinds of businesses.

“Everyone knows digital advertising is crucial today,” said Cheryl Ebersole, president of HMC, “We are excited to help businesses stand on social media, but also leverage their message on a multi-media platform; the results are incredible.”

The retreat will be limited to 75 attendees, who are invited to stay after the formal presentations for an informal Fireside Chat in the rustic lodge, continuing the conversation and providing extra value: the opportunity to ask the retreat team for their insight into individual business needs.

All attendees will receive a retreat gift bag and padfolio.

Cost to attend the retreat, which includes continental breakfast fare and catered lunch is $79 per person through December 15th, after which the price increases to $99.
