The Bedford County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the date of a Bedford County springtime tradition: The Home, Garden & Lifestyle Show 2017 will be held Saturday and Sunday, April 1st and 2nd at the Bedford County Fairgrounds.
The event is in its 3rd decade, featuring a myriad of exhibits and experiences inside and outside of Jordan Hall. With dozens of vendors and home improvement experts, the Show is the perfect one-stop-shop for buy-local goods and services to begin planning your next home or garden project.
Show favorites are returning, including the Indian Lake Marina Boat Show, children’s activities highlighted by the annual Saturday egg hunt by Real Life Church; Sunday Race Car Show featuring the Stars & Cars of the Bedford County Speedway; live music, vendor food, demonstrations, and more…
NEW in 2017, the show will feature an appliance/electronics recycling event in partnership with Weaver’s Sanitation (some restricts will apply – watch for updates in the coming months.) Also, the Friends of Shawnee will help to plan an Outdoor Show including wildlife programs, interactive experiences, and fun for the whole family.
Planning is well underway for the HGL Show – our local celebration of Spring! So mark your calendars and check back often for updates.
