Bedford County – Public Meeting Notice

“The Bedford County Department of Planning and the Pennsylvania Historic and Museum Commission will be hosting an open, public, stakeholder meeting on Thursday, November 1st, 2018 at 6:00pm at 200 S. Juliana Street, Bedford, PA 15522, Room 303. This meeting is part of the Disaster Planning for Historic Properties Initiative which began last year with the Phase I data collection.

The purpose of this meeting is to educate stakeholders, community organizations, and the public on the potential risk to vulnerable historic properties and to brainstorm ideas and solutions to improve resiliency. Phase II is being completed by Vision Planning and Consulting and they are requesting public and stakeholder participation to help guide the creation of goals, objectives, and mitigation actions to help protect the historic and at-risk buildings of Bedford County.
