Olde Bedford Brewing Company will welcome Chamber members and friends from the business community of the Bedford County region for the next Business After Hours: Thursday, June 21.

OBBC, located at 109 Railroad Street in Bedford is the first and only micro-brewery operating in Bedford. Owners David and Mary Heller are excited to make local history through their new business adventure, while also celebrating the history of Bedford County.

The inspiration of the “Olde Bedford” theme is woven in to the brewery’s décor and even their recipes. Recognizing the area’s ties to the   Whiskey Rebellion, they encourage guests to “Join the Whiskey Rebellion and drink more beer!”

Their beers are crafted with spring water and often hops grown on their own Hideaway Ranch in the mountains of Bedford County. Their goal is to surprise your taste buds with unique and delicious flavors along with traditional brews.

During the monthly business mixer from 5-7 p.m., guests will be able to tour the brewing facility and enjoy their new outdoor seating, weather permitting. Each guest who attends Business After Hours at the brewery will receive a beer ticket for a free beer of their choice, and will be able to purchase additional beers as well. Finger foods and valuable networking will add to the business mixer.

The Hellers officially opened Olde Bedford Brewing Company on March 6 and have been delighted with the response from the community and enjoy hearing their feedback. Their unique business model includes partnerships with Fat Jimmy’s Outfitters and Wholesome Living Marketplace.

Due to popular demand, as of June 1, Olde Bedford Brewing will be starting their new summer hours: open 2-8 p.m. Wednesday & Thursday, 12-10 p.m. Friday & Saturday, 12-6 p.m. Sunday and closed Monday & Tuesday.

As always, the cost to attend Business After Hours is $6 for members and $16 for not-yet members. You can RSVP by calling Cara at 623-2233 or register online.
