The Business After Hours program offers monthly opportunities for the business community to gather in a fun, informal environment. Bring your business cards to mix and mingle with you fellow Chamber members and make important business connections. Or showcase your business or organization by hosting an After Hours mixer.

The Chamber’s Annual Dinner & Award Celebration is our signature celebration of the best-of-the-best of the Bedford County Business Community. The prestigious event, held at the Bedford County Airport sells out at 400 guests, who enjoy an over-the-top, immersive themed experience in addition to the video-enhanced award program.  The evening includes more than a dozen awards recognizing excellence in business, including the John Anderson Award, Hall of Fame Award, Athena, and several others which honor those who not only succeed in business,  but also make significant contributions to the community.

The Chamber’s biggest business-to-business networking event of the year, the Showcase offers just that – a chance for the business community to showcase our goods, services and most importantly, our relationships.  From featured sponsorships to exhibit space, to a networking luncheon with keynote speaker and coffee & donuts hour, the Showcase offers opportunities for every budget to participate and make connections.

The Women in Business Conferences are held bi-annually in May and November.  Each event offers a day of education, networking and professional development for a regional audience of business women.

The Chamber’s golf tournament has been a summer- time tradition for more than 25 years, bringing business golfers together for a fun day of friendly competition and good networking. Held at the Down River Golf Club, the event always sells out. Sponsorships provide excellent exposure, and volunteer opportunities, including the very popular hosted holes, are the perfect chance for non-golfers to take part as well.

A newer offering is the Cabin Fever Indoor Golf Tournament, hosted by the Down River Golf Club utilizing their state-of-the-art simulators.  Foursomes book their tee-times and then settle in for a few hours of friendly competition on the virtual links, even as the snow may be flying outside.  Sponsorships as well as team registrations available.  Call Sarah Ferrari for info: 814.6t23.2233

Quarterly membership meetings offer networking opportunities over breakfast of lunch, recognition of new members, and featured speakers who share updates on topics of interest for area businesses. Win-win-win!

The Chamber works throughout the year to create events and programs that will help our members connect to one another and their customers. From fun social occasions to educational offerings, our menu of programs and events offers something for everyone.
