The Government Affairs Committee serves as a proactive leader in educating the membership on issues that impact our region's future at the local, state and federal levels. These issues may unreasonably inhibit business, improve the business climate or affect our quality of life. When appropriate, the committee will recommend a course of action to the Chamber's Board of Directors. "Government - It's Your Business" breakfast forums feature elected and appointed officials to provide up-to-date insights about legislative and community initiatives.
