The Bedford County Chamber Foundation is pleased to announce The third and final event of the Local Leaders series of the 2018 John Anderson Distinguished Speaker Series: Tuesday, March 13th at the Bedford Elks Country Club (previous events featured Bedford County President Judge Thomas Ling and CIA Retiree Lynn Ashe.)

Internationally renowned artist Wayne Hyde will speak about his many bronze sculptures, showcased in Bedford County and throughout the nation and world. The Bedford County native created the WWII monument and is working on the county’s Vietnam Memorial, and has works in many places throughout the nation and even in Buckingham Palace.  During this evening program, Mr. Hyde will talk about his inspirations, his commitment to historical accuracy in his sculptures and the personal stories behind some of his most significant works.

Dinner at the Bedford Elks Country Club will begin at 6:00 p.m. with the program to follow. Cost to attend is $30 per person.  Click Here to Register.
