The Chamber is pleased to invite the business community to an educational opportunity to learn about COSTARS, the stae’s coopearative purchasing program for municipalities and non-profit organizations: Friday, June 22nd – 7:30am breakfast – 8am program at the Bedford Elks Country Club.
Partnering with Rep. Jesse Topper and Rep. Carl Metzgar, the event will inform eligible local procurement units (LPPU’s) and state-affiliated entities about opportunities to leverage contracts established by the Department of General Services (DGS) to cost effectively and efficiently identify suppliers with whom to do business. COSTARS Marketing Manager Kimberly Bullivent will discuss important topics, including:
• website overview.
• available to members, e.g. online training, news letters, and contract updates.
• to search COSTARS-exclusive contracts.
• to search statewide COSTARS-participating contracts.
• with suppliers to get the best price, saving taxpayer money.
